I didn't get the name of the lady at the counter, but she was beyond kind to me and other hikers. I picked up the hiker box I had mailed to myself and offered her a tip, which she did not accept. They even recycle your box and have a great hiker box to contribute to or take from. I really liked a shirt for my wife but didn't want to carry it or ruin it. So I'm hoping I can order it. The store is small but has many essentials.

This a great store and the perfect place to stop for a resupply on the CT. Bob went out of his way to make sure I had some gluten free options on my one week segment hike. The staff is very friendly and I found the prices to be very reasonable. Also, I mistakenly left a small item in my basket after paying, and Bob the owner dropped it off at our accommodations the next morning to make sure I was set for my remaining days of the hike.

Stopped in while leaf peeping. Really enjoyed looking around. Very friendly and great selection of items.

finally made it back after two years and it was just as amazing as the first time! such friendly staff and cutest shop dog! snagged more fun souvenirs, too! ——— an unsuspecting gem if you’re en route towards independence pass from twin lakes! they had tons of stuff in shop— food, hiking/camping gear, souvenirs, puzzles, journals, etc. a random mix of items in a small town (population: 75) general store!

Such great service and friendly folks! I was really surprised at the selection of good as I ran short of some supplied while camping. The maps were plentiful, snacks, camping goods, firewood and yes... they sell gasoline at a great price! Thanks so much for all the tips and recommendations as I hadn't been to the area before!

This place is great and the people are incredibly friendly. They helped us out when we got an alert on tire pressure, for instance. They also have have a good selection of snacks and supplies for a long drive. The gas is a bit expensive, and they don't have bathrooms (there are restroom facilities across the highway from them). Overall, it's a good place with helpful proprietors and worth a stop if you need to stock up.

I love this general store. They have a great selection of stuff at a decent price. Which has really been helping me during my time at twin lakes. The sunglasses and bracelet I'm wearing in these photos were bought there

Absolutely love this little store! Every time we pass through this area we always make a point to stop in and check it out. Actually bought my favorite ball cap here, where it all the time lol. Don’t hesitate to stop in and check out all their goods if you’re passing through, you won’t be disappointed.

Great place to relax and recharge gear not too far off the Colorado Trail before climbing Hope Pass. Good stocking point as well.
